This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains what information ByteShield VPN and its affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, "we", "us", or "our") collect, and how we use and protect your information when you use mobile applications that we develop and make available for download in the Google Play Store.

What Information Do We Collect?

Device information

We collect device and network connection information in order to provide a better experience when you use our app.

This information may include SDK/API/JS code version, IP address, platform, timestamp, application identifier, application version, application distribution channel, independent device identifier, terminal manufacturer, operating system version, language, time zone, network state, CPU, battery use, screen resolution, memory usage, storage usage, SIM operator, SIM country, application release status in Google Play, ad loading strategy, ad platform and advertising placement ID, phone height and width, SIM operator name, and OS version.

We store certain information through the Android ID tied to the device you are using. In this way, we can retain advertising behavior while you use the app. We treat this information as personal information where required by law.

Data about your use of the Services

We may collect information such as number of clicks, landing pages, pages viewed and order of those pages, time spent on pages, date and time of requests, number of app opens, viewed pages, permissions status, whether functions are running normally, number of apps installed by users, package name, first open timestamp, app brand, app network status, firebase_device_id, app model, SIM country, system language, and related diagnostics.

These data are passed only to certified third-party statistical platforms such as Firebase, Facebook Analytics, and our self-built data statistics system. The information is used to improve product experience and ad performance and is not sold to third parties.

Monetization and analytical information from other sources

Third-party SDKs integrated in our app may access information including Google Advertising ID, demographic data, data used to fight fraud, data associated with your device, and data used for advertising, marketing, and analysis.

The information collected by third-party SDKs is governed by the providers of these SDKs. Third parties may include monetization partners such as Google AdMob, Facebook Audience Network, MoPub, Smaato, PubNative, IronSource, ChartBoost, and Pixalate, and analytical tool partners such as Firebase and Facebook Analytics.

Android Advertising ID

We use your Android advertising identifier to provide customized advertisement experiences. It is used exclusively for advertising and analytics and does not contain sensitive information that directly identifies you.

We may collect information that you directly and voluntarily provide to us, including your email address, feedback content, and questionnaire answers.
